The Catharine Lorillard
Wolfe Art Club (CLWAC) is a national organization of professional women artists.
The club has two exhibitions each year: a nationally open Annual Juried Exhibition
and a Members' Exhibition.
The Annual Juried Exhibition is held each October at the National Arts Club
in New York City. Approximately a quarter of all entries are admitted by the
club jurors. A panel of seven distinguished artists and curators from outside
the club constitute the Jury of Awards. After an artist had been accepted into
three Annual Exhibitions within a ten year period, she is invited to apply for
full membership. Her work is then reviewed by the board of directors for final
acceptance.
