Biography

Elaine Maldonado is a graduate of The Cooper Union and studied at the University of Madrid, Spain. She is a freelance artist and instructor. She is presently the Director of Faculty Development at FIT and previously taught at the City University of New York, Parsons School of Design, New School for Social Research and Centenary College.

Her works have been shown in New York and New Jersey galleries and are part of the permanent collection of the College of New Jersey. In addition, drawings that have garnered a variety of awards have been exhibited at New Jersey corporate centers like Johnson and Johnson and Ortho and in national juried exhibitions like Silvermine in Connecticut.
